Terms and Conditions of Hire

1. All and any business undertaken by @Class Chauffeurs shall be transacted solely on the conditions herein set out. Each condition shall be deemed to be incorporated in any agreement between @Class Chauffeurs and its clients. All orders are accepted from clients on the understanding that the client agrees to those terms and conditions of business to the exclusion of all others.
   
   
2. All hires start when the car leaves our base and finish when the car returns to the base except those hires to or from various airports or ferry-ports or those which are the subject of a fixed charge starts when the hirer first enters into the car and terminates finally when they leave the car.
   
   
3. All charges in the amounts specified herein and in the current tarif published by the company are payable in advance except where a hirer has a credit account or a credit card approved by the company.
   
   
4. When a car is hired for a week or longer period every endeavour will be made for the hirer to retain the same car and driver during such a period, the company reserve the right however to substitute any other car or driver according to the exigencies of the service.
   
   
5. The company expressly prohibits any person other than their own drivers from driving the cars. For a hire of a car or chauffeur only, please request copy of additional terms and conditions.
   
   
6. Subject to condition 5 the company accepts responsibility for the damage to their cars by fire, collision and for the third party claims arising from the use of their cars.
   
   
7. The company accepts no responsibility for any delays or implications howsoever caused.
   
   
8. The driver will drive at reasonable speeds according to their own judgement of road conditions and traffic at any particular time.
   
   
9. When a hirer desires to travel to a particular destination, the driver will, unless specifically otherwise instructed by the company travel by the route which is, in his opinion, the best and most convenient for motoring whether the route is shortest or not, and no allowance will be made to the hirer on the ground that the route adopted is not actually the shortest.
   
   
10. A reasonable amount of ordinary passenger luggage is allowed, but luggage, which is in the opinion of the driver amounts to excessive weight will not be carried. For your safety and comfort on no occasion will we put luggage inside of the vehicle on the seats. The company accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to any property carried in or on the car howsoever such as if loss or damage is caused.
    
    
11. The company reserves the right to invoice the client with a charge unless a cancellation has been received prior to the despatch of the chauffeur and car.
    
    
12. Every effort will be made to carry out the booking but its due performance is subject to cancellation by us or to such variation that we may find necessary or result of any act of God, war, strike, lockout or any labour dispute, fire, flood, drought, legislation or other cause beyond our control.
    
    
13. The booking is accepted between the times agreed, which can be confirmed by post email. Although we are flexible, excessive delays caused by the clients or their guest may result in a surcharge at our standard hourly rate.
    
    
14. At all times the client on whose behalf the job is booked is responsible for the conduct of their guest at all times and by implication and damage caused to @Class vehicle and/ or property.
    
    
15. The driver may refuse to transport passengers who in their opinion are unfit to travel or may cause trouble.
    
    
16. For the consideration of other clients, passengers are requested not to smoke in the vehicle.
    
    
17. In the unlikely event that we are unable to complete bookings for reasons beyond our control, an alternative car will be offered or a full refund will be given. Beyond this @Class will not be responsible for any loss/ implications.
    
    
18. All car parking and parking meter charges are payable by the client.
    
    
19. A 25% surcharge is supplied on public holiday except on Christmas day and New Year day when a 50% surcharge is levied.
    
    
20. @ Class Chauffeurs are a wholly indepedent company who are contracted to the "Holiday Inn " to provide executive travel services
